The Meaning Of Jehovah-Jireh
Through the names given to the Creator, His nature is revealed in an extraordinary way in the Old Testament. One of the popular names for God is Jehovah-Jireh, which means "the Lord will provide.” To gain more understanding of this name for God, we need to go back to the story from which it was first introduced.
He is our Jehovah-Jireh - the one who provides for our most important needs. God sees everything. We have God with us. His promise and character are why he is called by this name.
The LORD will provide

YHWH-Yireh is translated as Jehovah-Jireh meaning "The LORD will provide" (Genesis 22:14). Trials Are Inevitable In Life
It was pointed out that Jireh is derived from a root word that means “to see.” The compound name, however, means “to provide.” Seeing that his spiritual vision impacted his physical actions, Abraham named the place of sacrifice ‘Jehovah-Jireh’ because he was aware of the power of sight. God made provision for Abraham based on what He saw in him. The pre-vision became reality through the provision. In response to Abraham's obedience to the test of sacrificing his son, God provided a ram. God provided a solution for Abraham’s trial.

Our Daily Needs
According to an article in Bible Study Tools, the word “provision” hasn't been on people's minds much. We may call it "provisions" when we stock up on snacks for a road trip or stock up on food supplies in preparation for the next crisis or emergency. We also use the terms for getting our needs or wants in life such as payment for the bills, new car, new house, clothing or food.
God introduces Himself as Jehovah-Jireh, meaning "the Lord will provide," but not in terms of material possessions or money. It is in the context of pain that no person can bear - the loss of life. Sarah, the wife of Abraham, was childless. God promised Abraham that she would be “a mother of nations” (Genesis 17:16) and that she would conceive and bear a son. Isaac, born to Sarah and Abraham in their old age, was the fulfillment of God's promise to them. It is a miracle and so Abraham trusted that God would provide some kind of miracle when he was about to sacrifice his precious son, Isaac. He provided one indeed - a ram caught in a thicket as a substitute offering to save Isaac in the process.
Often, we think of the provision of God as a demand: We command him to intervene, demand through faith, and receive what we ask for. Generally, we believe that God provides for us - jobs, family, friends, care, church, abilities, answered prayers. They are significant and meaningful; they are definitely part of God's provision for us. In doing so, we often miss out on the deeper meaning of "the Lord shall provide". Significance Of God Being Called Jehovah-Jireh

Among English translations, only the KJV uses the transliteration "Jehovahjireh" instead of a translation of its meaning, but that term has now become a common reference.
Abraham calling the place "YHWH-yireh," "Yahweh will provide," is a beautiful testament to Abraham's faith and God's basic character. He does not abandon His people or those He loves. The mountain upon which Abraham was sacrificing is better known today as Mount Moriah, previously the Temple mount where Solomon's and later temples were built, and now occupied by the Dome of the Rock, a Muslim shrine. That Abraham called the place "the LORD will provide" has continued to be an encouragement to the Jewish people as their religious and political situation remains very complex, little better displayed than by Mount Moriah itself.

When we couldn’t save our self because we were dead in our tresspasses and sins God “provided a way” he provided the sacrifice for us just like he did for Abraham. Jesus was a flawless lamb able to redeem all sinners and pay for their sins once and for all. The answer to every person's deepest question and the fulfillment of their deepest needs is in Jesus, God's perfect and complete provision.

Do Not Worry (Matthew 6:25)
“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[a]?.....But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
When you begin to worry about a situation in your life be reminded that the battle is not yours but Gods. When you are caught between a red sea and an army, remind yourself that God can bring supernatural solutions to our everyday problems, he can part the sea and provide a safe path through.
